Microwave Digestion of PET (without pressure monitoring)

PET can be digested in an acid solution using the Berghof speedwave ENTRY. For this digestion process, DAP-60K vessels are needed. Furthermore, an acid solution consisting of HNO₃ and H₂SO₄ has to be prepared. The exact mixture and the corresponding temperature program of the speedwave ENTRY are described in the application note.
