Metal-free reactor

The metal-free reactors DB-300 to DB-700 consist of a complete PTFE lining. As standard, all DB reactors are equipped with a rupture disc and a valve. In addition, extensions for temperature and pressure monitoring are available. Those components of the extensions, that go inside the reactor, are made of PTFE, as well.

Product Description

All PTFE components of the DB-300, DB-500 and DB-700 metal-free reactors are made by the Berghof Fluoroplastics Technology GmbH. One of the characteristics of PTFE is an over-average corrosion resistance. Therefore, the DB-300, DB-500 and DB-700 reactors can be used for experiments with highly corrosive reagents.

In addition to the metal-free reactors, Berghof offers also relevant accessories. These are e.g. different heating systems and controller units. The DB-300 reactor offers a special feature: When using a hot plate for heating, stirring via a magnetic stir is possible, too.
