Product Description
The NR-1500 and NR-3000 low-pressure reactors are characterized by an easy handling and, therefore, by a high level user-friendliness. E.g., for each reactor configuration, a stand is available. The reactors can be manufactured both of stainless steel and hastelloy.
According to customer needs, the reactors can be equipped with various accessories and extensions. These include the following three different heating systems:
- Electrical heating via heating jacket
- Double jacket with fluid
- Heating coil with fluid
In addition, a cooling coil, stirring and PTFE inserts can be added to the reactors. All these components are retrofittable. A bottom drain valve can be fitted on the reactor, as well. However, reactors with a bottom drain valve cannot be equipped with PTFE inserts.
The NR-1500 and NR-3000 low-pressure reactors are often used in the automotive industry or in the technology sector. The applications are, amongst others, hydrogenations, material tests and production of emulsions at a low-pressure level.

Application Notes
Test samples of elastomers are prepared in coolants for tensile tests using Berghof reactors.
