The BHC – Berghof Hydrogen Control—is an automated solution for hydrogenation and other reactions involving reactive gases. It combines Berghof high-pressure reactors with intelligent process control to ensure safe, reproducible, and operator-independent operations. Automated safety and process steps, recipe-based reaction control, and a modular design ensure high process stability while maintaining a high degree of flexibility. The BHC can be used with various Berghof pressure reactors and adapted to different requirements. Detailed information is available upon request.

The system adapts to your requirements. Both the reactor and the control system are modularly expandable, and peripheral devices can be easily integrated. If necessary, other Berghof high-pressure reactors can be retrofitted for use as hydrogenation reactors. Valves for operation with other reactive gases (e.g., oxygen) are also available.

Like all Berghof high-pressure reactors, the BHC meets the highest safety standards. All high-pressure reactors are dimensioned, tested, and manufactured in accordance with the current AD-2000 guidelines. Explosion protection is provided inside the BHC for operation with hydrogen. In operation, stricter safety limits for temperature and pressure can be set, and a leakage test can be programmed before each startup. Maintenance contracts, including visual and pressure inspections, ensure legally required operational safety.
