Distillation at up to 200bar

Berghof offers high-pressure distillation systems on request. These are used, for example, for:
- work-up/purification of the substances/reaction mixture obtained after completion of the reaction
- shifting the reaction equilibrium during the reaction
- shifting the azeotropic point under pressure
Pressure, sump temperature and transition temperature are measured to control the distillation process. The transition temperature is the most important parameter here and is used in particular to detect the end point. The sump temperature is actively controlled.
Important note: as this distillation cannot be observed and controlled visually, the volume of the pre-storage reactor must be carefully dimensioned.
