Sensors – Temperature and pressure measurement
Table of Contents
Temperature measurement
The temperature of the reactor contents is permanently measured with a PT-100. To protect the sensor, it is inserted into a pressure-resistant immersion tube, which is optionally coated with PFA. The T-sensor is thus accessible from the outside at any time and can be easily replaced. Type k thermocouples are available as an option.
Pressure measurement
In the simplest case, the operating pressure is read from a pressure gauge mounted on the reactor. Alternatively, electrical pressure transducers with or without digital display are used. For operation with corrosive media, the sensors are protected against corrosion with a diaphragm seal. These diaphragm seals are also available in Hastelloy or with PFA protective film.
