Thermostatic jackets
High pressure reactors are heated either electrically or with a circulating thermostat. For operation with thermostats, insulated double-wall heating jackets are required. For the high-pressure reactors of the BR and DB series, these are available as independent thermostating jackets, or for the large-volume NR reactors, they are welded on directly.
Optimal for constant heating or cooling
Simplified handling for reactors with non-welded-on thermostatic jackets
Maximum temperature depends on thermostat and circulation fluid used, usually oil.
Electric heating jackets
High pressure reactors are heated either electrically or with a circulation thermostat. For electric heating, stand-alone insulated electric heating jackets are offered for all Berghof reactors:
Insulated heating jackets for electrical heating
Regulation of the internal temperature by temperature controller
Adjustable overtemperature protection (50 - 300°C)
